Hey Friend!
My name is Ashley and I’m so glad you’re here! To introduce myself a little bit, I’m an Ohio portrait photographer who loves working with people and capturing those sweet moments you can cherish forever. I’m married to my high school sweetheart, dog mom of two, local coffee “connoisseur”, and a full-time multimedia specialist when I’m not behind the camera.
Fun Facts About Me:
- I love being outside in nature and the sunshine whenever I can.
- When I was a kid I wanted to be a police officer solely so I could work with the K-9s (probably best this quickly changed over the years – haha).
- My favorite place to get coffee is Pettibone Coffee Shop – their drip coffee is the best!
- I’m a small-town kind of gal.
- Heavily involved in 4-H growing up.
- Borderline obsessed with house plants.
My Story
My story really starts back when I was a teenager and photography was more of a hobby. My subjects included anything found in my parent’s yard to making my siblings be my models – sadly the profession didn’t stick! Through this phase, I found that I really enjoyed working with people and capturing their personalities. A few years after high school, I decided it was time to take my hobby to the next level.
In November of 2014, Ashley Taylor Photography became my little business. I had multiple friends request I take their senior photos; of course, I couldn’t turn them down— this is what I love to do!
Since that year I’ve expanded my experience to photographing families, engagements, and weddings! Some have asked what type of session is my favorite and I don’t know if I can just pick one. I truly enjoy the various aspects of each session. Although, the best part about all of these sessions is when I can capture candids that show a raw emotion or expression that you get to keep for a lifetime. It’s those brief little moments that fuel my passion for photography because it’s like uncovering a hidden gem.
